Time: Friday 7pm- 11pm
System: Werewolf: the Apocalypse 5th edition
You're running through a dense ancient forest. The sound of baying wolves just out of sight. There are others. All of them running too. You’re being chased by this unseen pack of wolves. You glance over your shoulder expecting to see the beasts. Sharp teeth, yellow, feral eyes, barreling down on you. All you see is an overwhelming black cloud closing in behind you. The sound of the wolves morphing into that of howling winds. The ground is warm beneath your bare feet. Moist leaves and sharp sticks clinging to your naked flesh. No matter how fast you and the others run it just keeps coming.
The full moon, shining overhead, illuminating the path before you. Streaks of silver, a path. Footprints.
Pawprints! Pawprints stretch out into the distance, leading you down a well worn path. You don’t understand why but this is the way. This leads to safety. Safety for you and the others.
A bluish flame burns in the distance. As you come closer and closer to the fire’s soft cool light, you see that it is surrounded by towers of stone; flat stones piled high, eight, ten feet tall.
As you and the others, this pack find yourselves gaining ground the blue flame and the spires seem to get further away. Space itself stretches farther and farther beyond your reach. And the cloud and the terrible howling getting closer and closer.
Just as you close in on the clearing, this safe place, you and the others are swallowed by the baying cloud. Engulfed.
The howling stops. Replaced by the sounds of sirens in the distance. Your head is swimming. You can feel the cold breeze of the night flood over you. You’re wet. Sticky. You fight to open your eyes and realize you're not alone. You’re on the ground in a park. The others around you are just as dazed as you but….
They’re covered in blood. It’s reflecting in the flickering street light. You’re covered in blood. How did you get here? Was that cloud just a dream? What the fuck happend?
Welcome Garou to Werewolf the Apocalypse. You and your packmates will be playing recently changed werewolf cups feeling out your first experience as part of the Garou Nation with no knowledge of the world that you’ve just awakened into. The first change can be a traumatic event if not experienced with a guide and you were just not that lucky.
What you can expect
Players of Werewolf: the Hangover can expect a session wrapped around the fallout of the characters first change. Questions revolving around what damage may have occurred, who you may have harmed and what unnatural event may have sparked the change will be faced. Your Storyteller
Greetings!
For those who may not know me, I am Mekhet. I have been playing and storytelling World of Darkness games for over two decades. This is my full time job and I absolutely love the entire process. I run WoD games five days a week and travel to various events around the U.S. bringing my own special brand of storytelling, both table top and LARP wherever I go.
Please understand that I take consent based roleplay and in-game safety tools very seriously and primarily focus on telling a completely interactive story over complete dedication to the written rules.
